The best part about social media marketing is that you get to be as creative and edgy as you choose. So as long as your audience is up for it.
My newest Real Estate client Armando Ramirez has the perfect Harlem Brownstone up for sale.
After not doing photos before the first open house, he decided to invest in quality imagery and showcase his new listing with clear and crisp pictures before the secondary open viewing. As an afterthought, I put together a 10 second slideshow for him to showcase on his social media, something he admitted is lacking attention. If agents only knew how important it was to engage their social media audience, especially since 71% of US Internet users are on Facebook, averaging 40 years old, the current average generation X home buying age. That info is courtesy of wikipedia and Realtor.org.
When you share these simple slideshows on Instagram up open up your reach even further especially if you have good quality “I love to share” followers.
So, take a look at you phone and see what it’s capable of. Take your images and get creative. Make flipograms, highlight videos, and be sure to tell the world that you have a listing. If you are questioning whether or not this makes sense to do, why not take a look at the leaders in Real Estate sales right now and give them a # search. I bet you’d be surprised.
