they stand with pride… and i photograph them

One of my favorite photos. It’s been a while since my last post. I apologize. These mean a lot to me and I will struggle to keep up with them.   I have been awesomely busy with touring the TSMMA schools and capturing the essence of what it feels to train at each location. It’s been amazing, heart warming, challenging and fulfilling. I have at least one favorite moment from each school. But this photo sums them all up. Pride. Tomorrow is July 4th 2012 and we all have our own reasons of why we love where we are. This photo, of a young boy standing at attention for his Sensei, with the flag above his head, speaks volumes to what it feels like to train at this school, and all the others….  Thank you TSMMA Tom’s River for giving me this photo.
