I will admit, but first I will admit that sometimes even I am too proud to admit this, but I will admit that some days, the roughest ones… I have NO FLIPPIN’ IDEA what the hell is going on or what am I to do. I wonder if sharing my stories, and my letters and my photos really and truly matter. I wonder who is reading, and who truly listens to my soul felt words. And then I receive something like this in the mail. From a former employee, that turned into one of my dearest far away friends. And suddenly, the world turns right side up again.  It’s friends like this that give validity to one of my favorite quotes “Good friends are like stars. You don’t always see them, but you know they are always there.” In her note she stated that I was an inspiration to her. However, what she has yet to realize – after all these years – is that SHE HAS INSPIRED ME in so many ways over and over again and again.  Courageous, resilient, witty, beautiful, thoughtful, caring, STRONG, and always there for me, cheering me on.

Angi Gully our time shared together left an impact in my heart that with last for many lifetimes to come. You and the rest of the CM ladies are apart of me and in every letter I write, or every story I share, I always have our memories, our talks, our trials and tribulations and all we were able to overcome, in my thoughts helping me to push through.  I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I attribute the time I spent with you all to a lot of the reason why I am able to look at life the way I do today. You helped me through a very trying time and I can never repay you for that. So I can only hope that along my journey I make you proud. We are all FIGHTERS together. And our souls will forever be linked.  I can’t wait to wear my new favorite accessory loud an proud! Thank you my friend, for your thoughtful note. I will cherish it forever! ❤

The memories shared with Angi, are similar to the memories shared with many of the Women in my life. Ups and downs. Trials and celebrations. Just different periods. However, all those experiences have inscribed in me the willpower to achieve anything I truly believe in. There are times when I think my life is chaotic and become drawn down by the weight of its stresses. And then I look at the women around me, and see how they stand tall no matter what life hauls at them. They push through all obstacles with a force that makes them unstoppable. And it’s because of them, because they share their stories, and because they shine their light, that I am able to draw that same force to push me forward. In their own silent ways, they remind me everyday that I am never alone and I am amongst some of the most amazing beings that I could ever be blessed with.

I am truly grateful to have Angi, the rest of the CM crew, my amazing L ❤ 7, my beautiful and ever supporting cousins, my Sisters, my aunts, my friends, near and far, and all the other women around me who support my endeavors and travel this sometimes lonely road with me. I can only hope we continue to travel these crazy roads together for many years to come, hand in hand, dancing in our favorite tube socks, celebrating life in all it’s glory, cherishing memories and building a strong community of the STRONGEST women ever to exist. And I know, I have the best circle of Women to achieve that with.

Thank you Angi, for inspiring these words. For reminding me how lucky I am and allowing me to share that appreciation with all the women who have made an impact on my life.

But before I go, Angi there is one more thing I want to say to you…. Always remember… Life is full of amazing things. Always take a minute to smell the flowers by your feet. Feel the Sun on your face. Let the Rain cleanse your soul. Love with all that you have. Laugh with every breath. Live with purpose. Fight for your dreams. Reach for the Stars, Moon and Sun… Believe in you… cause I do. And remember, that I will always be here… right by your side… cheering you on.
