The fifth human: The siblings are told

Dear Baby,

Your sister learns the news. Your brother soon after. Their reactions surprised me.

Your sister came with me to a photoshoot in NJ. All weekend I had been feeling sick to beyond my comprehension. Headaches, nausea, feverish, dizzy. But I had to work. She was very visibly concerned and kept offering to help in many ways.

When we got home from work, she asked me what was wrong and how did I get sick. I wasn’t sick in the ill sense. You were just doing what fetuses do and sucking the immunity out of me so that you can prepare to do your thing. So I sat her on the bed, told her the news and she cried. A few moments later, Justin walked in, we told them and he cried. Then I cried. We were all crying happy tears. It was surely a moment to remember.
