Lionesses of a pride usually do most of the hunting and often work together to flush out prey. Lionesses from the same pride will often synchronize their reproductive cycles so that they give birth to their cubs around the same time to help with raising all their babies. [It takes a village to raise a child]. Lionesses teach their cubs how to play and socialize in preparation for hunting, they protect ALL pride cubs equally with a fierceness like none other, and a Lioness’ ability to provide for her pride is unmatched. While the Lion is the King of the Jungle, we must always remember that He could not come of this title without a Queen showing Him the way.
